Prapti Bhandary is a senior research analyst in the Environment and Production Technology Division at the International Food Policy Research Institute. Her research focuses on climate change adaptation/resilience, climate smart agriculture, ecosystem services and natural resource management with regional experience in Sub Saharan Africa and South Asia. She also has experience in designing, analyzing, and managing household surveys, facilitating enumerator trainings, and communicating with developing country partners and government officials. Prior to joining IFPRI, her research focused on the role of institutions in managing climate change adaption in Nepal. Prapti holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from Bard College’s Center for Environmental Policy and B.S. (Hons) in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University, Nepal.
