GENDERED IMPACTS OF COVID-19 ASIA AND AFRICA: INSIGHTS FROM 7 FEED-THE-FUTURE COUNTRIES

On June 22, Muzna Alvi, a Research Fellow with the Environment and Production Technology Division at IFPRI, gave a presentation on the “Gendered Impacts of Covid-19 Asia and Africa: Insights from 7 Feed-the-Future Countries” at the International Association for Feminist Economics titled: “Sustaining Life: Challenges of Multidimensional Crises" drawing on 3 to 5 rounds of phone surveys with rural women and men implemented in 7 Feed-the-Future countries over the last year.
