On June 29, Prapti Barooah, a Research Analyst with the Environment and Production Technology Division at IFPRI, gave a presentation on “How has COVID-19 impacted food security? Insights from women farmers in Nepal” at the 6th Annual Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (ANH) Academy drawing on a wave of phone surveys with rural women and men in Nepal that assessed the short- and medium-term gendered impacts of Covid-19 on rural areas.
