GCAN organized a session on “Gender Inclusive Policy Making for Sustainable Agriculture” as part of the International Symposium on Shree Anna and Woman Farmer 2025, co-hosted by WASSAN and the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment on November 10-11. Timed with the launch of the Gender Resource Cell in the department, the session spotlighted Odisha's leadership in embedding gender equity into climate-resilient agriculture. The accompanying blog, co-authored with the Principal Secretary to the Government of Odisha, reflects on how women farmers are driving inclusive, data-driven agricultural transformations in the state.
