ECF SIGNS MOU WITH ADAMAWA STATE UNIVERSITY TO ADVANCE EVIDENCE-BASED CLIMATE ACTION

On January 22, 2026, the Environmental Care Foundation (ECF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Adamawa State University (ADSU), marking the start of a strategic partnership focused on generating evidence-based data to inform locally-led climate action, sustainable agriculture, and environmental programming in Adamawa State.

The collaboration aims to strengthen research, data collection, analysis, and knowledge generation and management in support of GCAN and future interventions. By linking academic research with field-level implementation, ECF and ADSU seek to ensure that development initiatives are guided by credible evidence, local context, and academic rigor, while contributing to policy-relevant, data-driven solutions that enhance community resilience and support sustainable development.
