INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE 

In 2024, GCAN established an International Advisory Committee (IAC) to provide advice on the project’s research, capacity strengthening, and overall portfolio. The IAC is comprised of researchers and policymakers with expertise on climate change, gender, and/or nutrition issues, including members from five GCAN focal countries (Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal) to ensure that the research agenda is locally-driven and grounded in the local context and priorities. The IAC will help GCAN’s research fill important knowledge gaps and ensure it is policy-relevant, particularly in the focal countries.
