GCAN’s local partners in focal countries lead policy engagement and capacity strengthening activities on the integration of gender and nutrition in climate change policies and interventions.
The GCAN team collaborates with partner organizations in focal countries to identify entry points for stronger policy action and impact, address capacity gaps, and engage with other stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Through this capacity-sharing approach, GCAN aims to ensure the sustainability and institutionalization of project outcomes, enabling local partners to continue supporting the integration of gender, climate change, and nutrition objectives into policies, strategies, and programs beyond the life of the GCAN project.
